Chris Hart


Chris Hart portrays Cy Young and Sherlock Holmes.  With living history being his life's passion and Cy Young having grown up in nearby Peoli, Ohio, Hart portrays Cy Young as baseball's statesman sharing life lessons for audiences of all ages.  Chris also portrays Sherlock Holmes, Dr. Watson and a host of early Americans facing mysteries and retelling great events in history,



Living History Presenters

Ross Shaw


Ross Shaw's family was one of many that escaped removal from Ohio in the 1830s.  Today he's a historian of Shawnee  / Native American ancestry that portrays We-pi-thi Mowowa (Silver Wolf) through stories taught to him by his father, noted storyteller Fred Shaw.  Through the oral tradition students and groups of all types enjoy the age old lessons retold through stories  like Grandma Turtle, The Hunting Story of Reciprocity, the Otter's history of laughter.  Ross also portrays a number other early American characters, horsemen and cavalry

Stephen Hollen

Stephen Hollen is a humorist, storyteller, performer, writer and poet… and a Mark Twain Impersonator. Stephen became a “Twainiac” some time ago when he began to read Twain’s books. The irony and wit Twain as a Humorist had as he appeared on stage shows forth easily in his speeches and lectures. Stephen’s early influences as a humorist arose from his childhood in the hills of Eastern Kentucky and his love for the richness of humorist like Twain and Will Rogers.​


John Cooper


Mr. Cooper portrays Abraham Lincoln at public and private events all over Ohio. He's a father of four and retired after 32 years at the Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC). He began portraying the late president about 25 years ago while his children were in school .  A self self-avowed history nut, he considers Lincoln his favorite president and the greatest in U.S. history. 
Hank Fincken


Hank Fincken has toured the world as Johnny Appleseed, Thomas Edison, Christopher Columbus, Henry Ford, forty-niner J.G. Bruff and more for over twenty years. He began his life of adventure by serving in the Peace Corps, then started writing scripts and touring the U.S. and beyond as a living history presenter. Hank has received the national Pinnacle Award for the past four years.
