Winter Nature Preserve Trek

For an ever more scenic and exclusive trek, let us take you to one of Hocking Hills' crown jewel nature preserves, Little Rocky State Nature Preserve or Sheick Hollow.   You'll find the grandest geology, biology and wildlife in the region.   Most locals have never heard of this untouched place, surrounded by canyons and rugged terrain.  A permit is required to enter and we do our best to have permits available whenever possible.  ODNR's permit process varies from preserve to preserve so these treks are subject to availability.  Discover biodiversity unmatched anywhere else in North America. This trek is hilly and crosses through shallow streams lasting 4 to 5 hours.  It's ideal for able-bodied hikers, couples and families and small groups.
